Filip Landa, editor-in-chief (*1984, Litoměřice, CZ) is an architect, editor, pilgrim. He has been a guest editor and curator of ERA21 since 2012, his collaboration with the magazine later lead to him being appointed editor-in-chief in 2017. He has a master's degree from the Faculty of Art and Architecture, Technical University of Liberec (2012), he also studied in Belgium (Sint-Lucas School of Architecture, 2010–2011) and in Prague (doctoral student at the Faculty of Architecture, CTU in Prague). He has professional experience working in the Netherlands (MATH architecten, Delft, 2009) and in the U.S. (Page & Turnbull, San Francisco, 2009). He worked in the architectural studio Sféra architekti in Prague and now has own office FAKT architekti with his wife in České Budějovice. Filip co-founded the regional platforms Liberec-Reichenberg.net and Litoměřice-Leitmeritz.net and he is trying to make a spiritual and cultural renewal of the borderland. He has also taught at the Faculty of Architecture CTU in Prague as well as the Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice. Filip also plays bassoon in chamber orchestra Collegium Musicum Budvicense.
Eva Truncová, editor (*1996, Brno, CZ) is an architect, author and curator. She studied the architecture at Brno University of Technology. During her studies, she completed two internships abroad in Brighton and Graz. As an independent architect, she discovers and tests the limits of the field with its overlaps, mainly through texts, exhibitions or small to micro-scale interventions. She collaborates or cooperates with various institutions and collectives (Terén: Pole performatívního umění, FaVU in Brno, BAM – Brno Architectural Manual, Paradigma Ariadne, …). In 2022, with the support of FA BUT, she founded and curates the gallery 45,000 l in a public passage in the center of Brno, where the issues of exhibition and (re)presentation of architecture are reopened. She is currently a doctoral student at FA BUT, where she deals with manifestations of the ideology of undemocratic regimes in architecture in the context of post-war Czechoslovakia. He has been working in the ERA21 editorial team since the summer of 2024.
Alžběta Nováková, extern editor (*1995) is an architect and cyclist. She has a master's degree from the Faculty of Art and Architecture, Technical University of Liberec (2019) and School of Architecture at The Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2022). She studied abroad at ENSA Nantes, France and completed semestral internship at Studio of intermedia 2 at AFA Prague. She has professional experience working in Prague as well as in Berlin, Germany.
